OUR INSPIRATION
Today’s world is increasingly personalized; online and offline, we tailor experiences to fit our specific needs. In his work helping families prepare for B’nai Mitzvah events, Jewish educator and life cycle officiant Todd Shotz met many families who were seeking individualized Jewish learning but it was beyond their means. Todd was inspired to start the Mitzvah Learning Fund to make the opportunity for meaningful personalized Jewish learning experiences more accessible.
OUR GOAL
The Mitzvah Learning Fund is committed to making personalized educational experiences possible, both for learners and for educators. By providing learning grants to families and individuals, the Fund will enable them to participate in meaningful personalized learning experiences, whether it be in Hebrew language, Jewish history, Bar/Bat Mitzvah studies and Jewish studies. The Fund will also provide grants to educators who are looking to develop personalized learning curricula.
